Our restaurant serves great food representative of the surrounding area, which you can enjoy in the warm embrace of our inglenook fire. Our seasonal produce is sourced from local suppliers whenever possible, as we want you to experience the true taste of an Sussex Inn. Come lean an elbow on our bar as we pour forgotten malt whiskeys and frothy beer. Also, if you ask nicely and appear not to be scared too easily, we may tell you the story of the ‘Legless Grey Lady’ whose ghostly face has been seen many a time peering out from one of our lofty windows.
