The Slanting Room
The Slanting Room (pictured below) is accurately named as you have to walk slightly uphill to get to the window. Don’t worry, there are chocks on the beds to prevent them from sliding. Also, the smuggling romance, ‘Sir John Dering’, was written here when the popular historical novelist of the 1920s and 30s, Jeffrey Farnol, stayed here for three months.

The Cozy Room
The Cozy Room (pictured below) does what it says on its proverbial tin. It is quintessentially English in its Old World design and decor and in its certain comforting ambience. Also, the small door behind the bed was once one of the smugglers escape routes, although we are sure escape will be the last thing on your mind once you settle down into The Cozy Room.

The Harvey's Room
The Harvey's Room (pictured below) is testament to our favourite beer and our own little artists haven. It proudly sports a limited edition print of “The Evening Shrimp Train Passing the Old Cloud Cuckoo Greek Tide Mill” by Roland Emmett. It also features a Ralph Steadman and ‘The Four Seasons’ by Gerald Howarth.

If you intend returning to the inne after 11.00 pm please ask the staff for a door key. Please ensure that you room is vacated by 11.30am. Please observe the no smoking policy in the inne. We hope that you enjoy your stay.
