Welcome to Ye Olde Smugglers Inne
Once home to the infamous Stanton Collins, now home to good beer, great food and a warm and cosy vibe. Built in 1358, Ye Olde Smugglers Inne is a charming slice of old England. Set in the heart of the picturesque village of Alfristion, the Inne upon first inspection gives no clue to the untrained eye of the mischief and plotting that once creaked it floorboards. We invite you to smuggle yourself down, for just a beer, or if you like stay for a few nights.

InneCTC

Ye Olde Smugglers Inne has enjoyed a long and fruitful relationship with The Cyclist Touring Club. The CTC was founded in 1878 and Ye Olde Smugglers Inne was one of the original approved innes and hotels that were given the cast iron plaques of the Winged Wheel to place outside and show that they welcome cyclists from around the world. The Winged Wheel is now a decorative piece of history that we wish to preserve. We still warmly welcome cyclists and have a barn behind the inne for secure storage of your bicycle. Come join in the tradition.
